Privacy Notice for the Veritran OAuth Application

This notice explains how Veritran uses Google OAuth authorization for Mobile Builder-related services and how information obtained through authorized Google APIs is handled.

1. Scope

This OAuth application is operated by Veritran for the limited purpose of enabling secure access to selected Google services that support Mobile Builder dashboards, operational reporting, analytics workflows, and related support activities.

2. Google data that may be accessed

Veritran requests the following Google OAuth scope:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/analytics.readonly — read-only access to Google Analytics 4 reporting data. Used to call properties.runReport for engagement, retention and crash-free metrics, and properties.dataStreams.list to resolve the GA4 stream associated with a configured Firebase application identifier. No write operations are performed.
  • openid, email — non-sensitive identity scopes used only at the moment of consent to verify that the authorizing account is on the Veritran corporate operator allow-list. The identity is not persisted.

2.b Limited Use disclosure

Veritran's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data obtained through this OAuth application is not sold, is not used for advertising, is not used to train generalized or third-party machine learning models, and is not transferred to other parties except as required to provide or improve the Veritran service, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets with notice to affected parties.

3. Purpose of use

Authorized Google data is used only for legitimate business and operational purposes, including:

  • Displaying dashboards and analytics views in Mobile Builder
  • Supporting application stability, reporting, and operational troubleshooting
  • Maintaining customer-specific service visibility requested as part of the Veritran solution

4. Access controls and security

Access is intended to be limited to a designated Veritran corporate Google account and to authorized personnel operating within Veritran security and confidentiality controls. Veritran protects related credentials and operational data using administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the service context.

5. Retention

Veritran retains authorized data only for as long as necessary to provide the relevant operational service, comply with contractual obligations, support troubleshooting, or satisfy applicable legal requirements.

6. Sharing

Veritran does not disclose Google data obtained through this app to unrelated third parties except where required by law, necessary to protect legal rights, or permitted under the applicable customer agreement.

7. Revocation and changes

Access granted to the Veritran corporate Google account may be revoked by the relevant Google resource owner or administrator at any time. If access is revoked, related Mobile Builder features that depend on such data may no longer function as expected.
